I have got a typical artist path of professional growth, started from classical realistic fine art and got academic art education in several government schools and private studios. There were a lot of still-life works, landscapes, gypsum forms...
Only few years later something inward made me doubt all that I've been taught for so many years. I've felt the desire to create something new and unique instead of simply copying.

In short about my arts - I am interested in emotions and human characters. Working rarely with prepared sketches, I prefer to start artwork from improvisation, even in big formats.
When I stay at the canvas or a paper list for the first time, I usually have no final conception of a next stroke or a picture generally. My hand creates new lines and in some moment my eyes start to catch up rough associations and figure out whole vision.

Feelings and emotions are being a deficit thing in present times. One of the approaches for covering this deficit still appears a fine art. However, current realities make it struggle and compete for our attention and precious time with very powerful opponents, such as the internet, social networks, entertainment television and movies.
It becomes more and more difficult for independent arts to retain place in our lives. Due to that very reason it has to engage your brain, touch your soul, and on the last turn only - amaze your eyes with its rational beauty and realism.

That's my vision of visual art in current reality and culture, so I am going to stick to this course onwards. Moving from Emotion to Art.
